7th Annual Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon at Advendture Island

The Event Development Institute (EDI), in conjunction with Adventure Island, hosts the annual Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon (TBKT). The TBKT offers youth athletes, experienced and first-timers alike, the unique opportunity to swim, bike and run in and around Busch Gardens’® premier water park, Adventure Island

Boys and girls ages 6-10 (junior varsity division) and 11-14 (varsity division) are eligible to participate. The first 400 registrants receive a complimentary ‘Stay and Play’ ticket to Adventure Island®, valid on race day only. All participants receive a race-day ‘Swag Bag’, including an official Under Armour race shirt, in addition to a finisher’s medal upon completion of the race. The top three male and female finishers in each age group category will earn a trophy along with an additional Adventure Island ‘Stay and Play’ ticket.

2019 NCAA Women's Final Four

See it all, do it all, go for it all April 5 - 7 right here in Tampa Bay as the Women’s Final Four transforms the city for a weekend celebration of women’s basketball. Mark your calendar and watch the top female student-athletes compete in the premier women's collegiate championship. Plus enjoy various FREE indoor and outdoor events. There truly is something for everyone!

NCAA Bounce Presented by Buick

Hop, skip and jump into Women’s Final Four action with the NCAA Bounce presented by Buick. Youth ages 18 and under are invited to participate in this unique parade and FREE Women’s Final Four event, joining thousands of fans dribbling their way along the Tampa Riverwalk and into Tourney Town presented by Capital One – the official fan festival of the 2019 Women’s Final Four. The first 2,000 participants will receive a FREE basketball and shirt.

Bounce will take place on Sunday, April 7 beginning at 1pm.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Event Development institute and Tampa Bay Sports Commission are seeking hard working individuals to lend their time, talent and energy to the 2019 Tampa Bay Kids Triathlon (TBKT) and 2019 NCAA Women's Final Four (WFF), both hosted in Tampa Bay this April. Events such as these would not be possible in our community without all of our wonderful volunteers.  A variety of volunteer shifts are available. Click the links below to register now!
